ABOUT US

PURPLE SAM Cosmetics is a small, indie business located in Bangor, Michigan.  I've been making skin care products for several years and in 2013 I decided to turn my love and passion into my livelihood and so PURPLE SAM was born.  I started out vending at various festivals, craft fairs and farmer's markets before entering the world wide web!

I'm obsessed with nature and formulate all products myself, focusing on skin care in the most natural way possible.  All batches are small and handmade.  Every ingredient used has a purpose and because there are no fillers, our products are luxurious and long lasting.  I make tons of skin care goodies and offer limited time products regularly.

I grow and harvest some of my own plant materials and create beautiful distillations, essential oils and hydrosols with a copper still purchased from Portugal.  My hydrosols are undiluted and rich in essential oils.

We have a variety of fragrances along with our own house blends.  Our house blend fragrances are deep and earthy.  You can find descriptions to these on the HOUSE BLEND page in the menu.
