Shaking isn't required, but recommended as the heirloom botanical micro-droplets remain perfectly suspended throughout the sterile water base.

This rare, hyper-limited botanical mist begins with a half-mile walk from our Southwest Michigan home with a wheelbarrow and cutting shears. We hand-harvest this heirloom plant material from an old, historic Wrigley’s Gum spearmint field. The stalks are brought back to our studio, rinsed, bundled, and hung upside down from pins spanning our ceiling-high bay windows to cure naturally in the gentle air.

Once thoroughly dried, the leaves are hand-stripped for slow distillation in our traditional, handmade copper still imported directly from Portugal. To ensure zero waste and honor the plant completely, the remaining stems are kept and woven into household crafts while teaching our grandchildren the art of ancestral self-reliance.

Because our cured, copper-still spearmint hydrosol is exceptionally rich and potent, we intentionally balance it at a precise 50/50 ratio with pure distilled water. This guarantees a universally safe, comforting experience that delivers all the crisp, skin-toning benefits of raw spearmint without overwhelming or irritating sensitive facial skin.
